Cara install :

Download ROM MiniCM
Copy update.zip ke SD Card
Buka menu xrecovery
Buat backup system di xrecovery jika nntinya akan dikembalikan ke eclair
Pilih "install update.zip dari sdcard" di xrecovery
Pilih "Factory Reset" di xrecovery
Reboot (pertama mungkin akan butuh ~1-5 menit, tunggu)

ROM GingerDX Untuk W8

Kelebihan utamanya yaitu : cepat halus, CM7 ringan dengan fitur-fitur khusus.
2D kinerja sangat meningkat di GingerDX (dibandingkan dengan stock rom CM7) karena banyak optimasi. Optimalisasi untuk 2D adalah prioritas pertama setelah membangun CM7. Kamera agak kurang jelas untuk semua ROM Gingerbread. Mulai dari v005. GingerDX mendukung sepenuhnya di kinerja kamera, perekaman video 3MP dan VGA, juga mempunyai fitur WEP adhoc (Wifi Tethering).

Lightweight: maximum 99MB of free RAM.

Menginstal Custom Rom

Download CustRom disini

ROMs tersedia dengan berbagai macam versi :

Zip packages berisi file sistem (ROM).
Collection of .img files.(File Backup/salinan ROM)
Flash tool .FTF files.

Catatan: Sebelum menginstall ROM baru :

Buatlah Backup!! - View Post.

Upgrade baseband. - View Post.

Installing custrom.zip :

Copy file .zip ke SD Card.
Boot untuk masuk ke menu xrecovery.
Full wipe / factory reset
Pilih "install custom zip".
Browse ke file custrom.zip file dan pilih
Kemudian biarkan xrecovery bekerja
Full wipe / factory reset ( Tergantung Custromnya, liat review developernya )
Selesai

Catatan: Pastikan bahwa file zip yang dibuat untuk Xrecovery. (zip file untuk cwm recovery berbeda)

Installing files .img :

Copy folder yg berisi "System.img","Data.img" "cache.img" "nandroid.md5" ke '/xrecovery/backup' folder in sdcard. [Jangan mengubah nama folder]
Full wipe / factory reset
di xrecovery menu...pilih "Backup and Restore".
Pilih restore. Kemudian pilih folder untuk merestore.
Full wipe / factory reset
Selesai
